Give Fiverr its due first

Fiverr's team account is native, free, and lives inside the platform your orders already flow through. Nothing to set up, nothing to pay for, official support. If you need to give one trusted person visibility into orders and you're comfortable with what they can see, it is the simplest option that exists — and for some sellers it's genuinely enough.

The two limits Fiverr documents itself

Access is broad by design.Fiverr's own Help Center describes team members accessing orders and message history. For an agency, message history isthe client list — usernames, relationships, pricing. There is no “this worker sees only their job” mode.
Only the admin gets paid. Fiverr states that earnings go to the admin and distribution to the team happens outside the platform. The hardest operational problem — counting and paying each worker fairly — stays yours, in a spreadsheet.

Add the size ceiling (agencies cap at 9 members) and the absence of workflow tools — no assignment, no QC gate, no attendance — and the pattern is clear: the team account shares access; it doesn't run an operation.

When the team account is the right call

You have one trusted partner, low volume, no per-task pay to calculate, and no concern about them seeing every conversation. Use the native feature — it's free and it works.

When it isn't

You have workers rather than partners; you pay per task or per listing; your client list is the business; or you've hit the 9-member ceiling.
